Here we have a part you will only need if you have lost it or if you have purchased a parts saw where it's missing, or come to think of it, if you happen to be converting an early 064 (064E) to the later improved style of carburettor boot and outer ring washer spacer solution, which of course, is what I  would do if on one of those early saws, that is, the one with the magnesium air cleaner cover. To do this you would need two parts, the Carburettor boot (new style) and this part.
It's a Genuine STIHL Carburettor Boot Outer Ring Washer, which in essence is a spacer to stop you overtightening the carburettor down onto the boot lips, as mentioned above, this was not the way they engineered it in the early 064 chainsaws.
Oh, this part is also needed on the MS651, MS661 and MS661CM saws too.
