Here we have a listing for a pair of Genuine STIHL Crankcase Seals (2) that fits just so many STIHL machines / models
The seal size is 15 x 25 x 5mm and you get two of them.
These fit... 017, 018, 019, 021, 023, 025, MS162, MS170, MS171, MS172, MS180, MS181, MS182, MS190, MS191, MS210, MS211, MS230, MS250, MS270, MS280, MS311, MS391 etc
BR500, BR550, BR600, BR600, BR700, FR230, FR230, FR410, FR460, FS230, FS240, FS260, FS360, FS410, FS460C, FS490, FS510C, FS560, SR430, SR440, SR450 etc.
As you can see above these seals fit a huge variety of small engines indeed.
This style of seal is manufactured for use on the motors when they are closed and you are using a seal puller to remove the seal and a seal driver to press the new seal home, if the motor is open then you would be better to buy part no.. 9639 003 1585, which is the same size seal it is just developed for easier fitment if the motor is not pulled down.
Please note that most STIHL models using these seals will require two of them but some may have a different seal on one side, if in doubt please check your parts manual / IPL.
