STIHL 084,088E Unlimited Ignition Coil. # 1124 400 1308 (NLA part) Very Rare!
Very rare new coil for the later dual keyway 084 Chainsaws. Note this will also fit the Early 088 (which I call the 088E) with the Cast Magnesium Muffler too. The original coil in the 088E has the 1124 400 1309 number.
This coil will really get your saw flying as its Unlimited unlike the latter types, which are rev limited.
The price is reflective of the parts scarcity and I have seen them fetch way more than this. Most of you all know how hard it is to find good parts for the 084's let alone NOS parts!
Please note that on the very earliest types of 084 saws the PRUFREX CDIC 125 Coil was used. The coil I am selling will not fit this type of flywheel (unfortunately) Apparently STIHL had problems with this limited coil, I believe that was why they changed it to the IIDA (Japanese) Coil ie this one.
Please check the coil no that is in your saw and or make sure this one will work before buying it.
Check your IPL or Parts List to be sure.
