Here we have a STIHL Genuine oil tank / cover for the 070, 090 saws.
High quality German made and thick AZ91 powder coated magnesium casting.
The thing to look for if you are wondering if your cover is worn is if your manual oiler plunger shaft has sideways slop / movement in it. If there is any play there it is likely to be worn and can leak. There is an O ring fitted in there too and it's not designed to be changed out so if it's worn, and or leaking / weeping, then your best to change the tank cover.
Do not buy after market of this one as they are junk and you will not be happy.
