Here we have a Genuine STIHL late 066, MS640, MS650 and MS660 Carburettor Repair Kit for your saw.
If your saw is a few years old and it's running a little rough, like if it is fluctuating in revs and seems hard to tune, then this kit will be what you will need to fix it.
These "All Position" Diaphragm carburettors use membranes on the fuel pump side as well as the fuel metering side and over time these thin membranes deteriorate, becoming stiffer and thus fail to work properly.
In fact not changing these membranes at regular intervals can cause damage to the motor. Pistons are way more expensive that good carburettor Diaphragms / Membranes. So... it's very cheap insurance on your engine to change out the carburettor membranes. I cannot stress this enough. If you have never done this before, ask a friend, watch a youtube video or ask me for some tips.
