STIHL Genuine 064, 066, MS660 RH Front Lower AV Buffer Plug # 1122 791 7300

Here we have a Genuine STIHL AV Buffer Plug that fits the 1122 Series of saws, namely the 064, 066E, 066L, MS640, MS650, MS660.
This is a simple part but it is still very necessary for the correct function of the AV System, as it creates pressure inside the fitted rubber buffer thereby making it stiffer. In addition to that, the plug also keeps the buffer free of sawdust etc.
The position of this one (just below the bar mount) means that over time it can get cut or damaged in some way, thereby requiring replacement.
To fit these Plugs you will need some Silicone Grease or other rubber lubricant. Just a little smear on the inside of the buffer and then some on the plug too.
