Here we have a Genuine STIHL Muffler Cover Gasket that fits the 1128 Series of saws which are the 044, 046, MS440, MS460, and the MS461 too.
This is a must have for those that want the best for your saw as it does two things...
It seals the muffler which of course helps it work as it should as well as it provides a dampener
between the muffler cover and the muffler body, thereby eliminating the metal fatigue that the cover can experience if the gasket is not used. In other words this gasket will help the function and longevity of your muffler. All in all a good thing!
