Here we have a Genuine STIHL Governor Return Spring for the 1106 series of saws, which are the 070, 070AV, 090, 090AV, 090G, the CONTRA / LIGHTNING models too.
Over time these springs wear and get weak, I have seen that many times, in fact when i work on the these models i invariably replace this spring, as for sure it will help you saw.
