STIHL 070, 090 and Contra Oil Seal / Stator Plate Felt Ring. # 0000 992 5820

This felt ring or washer sits over the crankshaft and up against the oil seal and then you put the stator plate / points assy over the top of the felt ring so as to sandwich it in place. The idea of the felt ring is if over time your oil seal starts to fail, then the felt will absorb a lot of the fuel and oil thereby it will not be affecting your breaker points so much.
