Here we have an Genuine STIHL Operator Prescence Lever or Trigger Lockout Lever for the some of the modern STIHL saws like the MS261, MS271, MS291, MS500i, MS651, MS661 models (probably more too).
These newer style saws being lighter cannot take quite as much abuse as the older ones so... if yours has taken a hit then you may be needing this part amongst other things.
If you are not quite sure about it please check your saw models parts list or IPL.
