STIHL Genuine "Tanged" Inner Guide Plate for 044, 046, 064 # 1128 664 1002

This Guide plate was an optional accessory provided by STIHL to kind of grab the chainsaw bar and to hold it firmly onto the saw. It is a great idea IMO, but it only works with the earlier studs and clutch cover (1125 640 1701) style see the pic of the inside of that one one above to be sure. There are a lot of these early saws and covers out there and they work well too.
The guide plate is top end quality thick Stainless Steel plate and very strong and durable. The plate is a press fit only so does not need a M4 screw to attach it like the later style of Guide Plate do.
All in all this is a pretty good innovative solution to "grip" the bar onto the bar mount.
Here if you need one anyways...
